Job Title: HGV/PSV Engineer
Location: Didcot

Salary: £25 p/h per hour (Monday to Friday) and £28.75 (Weekends)
Hours: 40-50 hours per week (4 on - 4 off - 5am - 5pm)

Alecto Recruitment are working with our client in finding a highly motivated and skilled HGV/PSV Engineer to join their dedicated Engineering team. This is a key role involving the inspection, diagnosis, and quality repair of their fleet of company vehicles, ensuring all work meets Company and Department for Transport standards.

Key Responsibilities

Inspect, diagnose, and carry out effective repairs to our vehicle fleet
Ensure all work complies with safety and operational standards
Maintain high levels of accuracy and quality in all tasks
Collaborate with other engineers and departments to ensure efficient fleet operations
Work independently with minimal supervisionRequirements

City & Guilds Level 3 / NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (essential)
Experience working with PCV or HGV vehicles (essential)
Full UK driving licence (essential)
PCV licence (desirable)
Ability to remain calm under pressure and prioritise tasks
