Job Title: Wellbeing Care Assistant

Reports to: Deputy Manager

Job Overview: In your role, you will have the privilege of Caring and Assisting vulnerable adults and their families in their homes.

Role Specific Duties:

A Wellbeing Care Assistant with The Happy Healing Hut (THHH) will have additional roles and these may include:

* Support with all areas of a customers' Holistic Care which will include their Activities of daily living.

Activities of daily living:

* Maintaining a safe Environment

* Communication

* Eating and Drinking

* Elimination

* Personal Cleansing and dressing

* Controlling body temperature

* Mobilising

* Working and Playing

* Sleeping

* End of Life

* Personal Cleansing and dressing

Working with others:

· Develop effective working relationships with other team members within our BeHappy at Home service

Leading by example:

· Seek opportunities for personal and professional growth

· Be a role model for others and be an ambassador for the service

· Be professional, polite and reasonable at all times

Personal responsibilities:

· Understand the regulatory framework which governs our service

· Commit to training required for your role

· Attend/ complete statutory training

· Understand and follow all policies and procedures relevant to your role

· Be open and honest at all times

Personal specification

* Good command of the English language

* Proficient writing skills

* Leadership Skills

* Communicate compassionately and effectively.

* Ability to adapt and address situations effectively

* Ability to ask for support and guidance proficiently

* Implement and assess approaches to promote health and wellbeing, whilst recognising and reporting situations where their might be a need for protection

* Drive safely and proficiently

Availability

· Monday - Friday 07.00 - 21.00

· Alternate Weekends 07.00 - 21.00
