Clarence Park Residential & Nursing Care Home is a well established service in Weston-super-Mare, located close to the seafront and set within a characterful Victorian townhouse. Supporting up to 43 residents, the home provides high quality nursing, respite and palliative care within a calm, welcoming and team focused environment where staff can build meaningful relationships and make a genuine difference every day.
Care Assistant - Bank - Dayshift and Nightshift
- £12.71 per hour
- Bank contract, zero hours
- Flexible dayshift and nightshift available
- Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided
- 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)
Role Overview
As a Care Assistant, this role plays an important part in delivering high quality, person centred care within a specialist environment. Working on a flexible bank basis, you will support residents with a range of needs, ensuring care is delivered safely, consistently and with compassion across both day and night shifts.
The role involves supporting residents with personal care, mobility and daily routines, always promoting dignity, independence and wellbeing. You will follow individual care plans, monitor changes in residents' condition and communicate effectively with the wider team to ensure continuity of care.
Working alongside nurses and colleagues, you will contribute to a safe, calm and supportive environment where residents feel comfortable and valued. The role requires a flexible, reliable approach and the ability to adapt to different shifts while maintaining high standards of care.
What We Are Looking For
- NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care is preferred but not essential
- Previous care experience is beneficial but not required
- A caring, patient and compassionate approach
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work both dayshift and nightshift
