About us:

Linklaters is a global law firm, with 31 offices in 21 countries worldwide.

Linklaters is a people business. Being best in class in the eyes of our clients means that our people must be exceptional.

We look not only for brilliant minds, but for people who will thrive in our environment: people who love working collaboratively and demonstrate the innovative, efficient, agile, entrepreneurial, and responsible mind-set we aim to bring to every interaction.

Ours is an environment of outperformance. We achieve this not with targets and incentives, but by fostering a positive, supportive, fair, and open atmosphere.

We respect and value difference but insist on inclusivity. We celebrate all aspects of diversity and challenge any form of bias. This is vital to our ability to work as one team, with a common goal.

About the role:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented BD Senior Advisor to join our Financial Regulation Group (FRG) in London. This hands-on role will support the effective execution of business development and marketing activity, ensuring our group is well-positioned for continued success. You will play a central part in the coordination and delivery of day-to-day activities-ranging from client events and marketing campaigns to submissions and credential preparation.

Key responsibilities:

  • Maintain and manage client, contact and distribution lists, ensuring information is always accurate and fully GDPR-compliant.
  • Organise webinars, seminars and other client-facing events, handling logistics, invitations, materials, and follow-up.
  • Assist with pitches, proposals and credentials by collating content and ensuring materials reflect the latest experience and messaging.
  • Coordinate directory and award submissions by working with lawyers to gather information, update matter lists, and meet deadlines.
  • Support group marketing campaigns (emails, events, and materials) to enhance our external presence.
  • Encourage consistent use of firm tools such as Salesforce by updating data, running reports, and assisting colleagues with queries.
  • Work closely with the UK and global BDM teams to align templates, processes, and initiatives.
  • Undertake other practical tasks to support the smooth running of FRG marketing and business development.
  • Ensure the London team remains connected with the wider global network and strategies.

About you:

  • Experience in professional services marketing or business development (ideally in the regulatory or financial sector, but not essential).
  • Strong organisational skills and confident in planning and delivering logistics.
  • Familiarity with supporting pitches, proposals, or marketing campaigns.
  • Comfortable using client relationship management (CRM) tools (such as Salesforce) and open to learning new systems.
  • Effective communicator with excellent written and verbal skills and a sharp eye for detail.
  • Flexible, proactive and a team player with the ability to work collaboratively across global teams and functions.

This role is based at the Linklaters London office with a hybrid working model available.
