The Food Tech Department
You'll teach in a recently upgraded Food Technology suite, guiding students through cooking, nutrition, hygiene, and cultural cuisines. The school places a strong emphasis on healthy living and practical independence, and your work will make a direct impact on students' daily lives.

Your Role

Deliver engaging and structured lessons across KS3 and KS4

Teach practical cookery alongside theory on nutrition and sustainability

Contribute to school events, such as cooking competitions and themed days

Work alongside supportive DT colleagues and your assigned ECT mentor

Requirements

Degree in Food Technology or related subject

*

PGCE with QTS (or working toward this by July 2025)
