Kingfisher House Care Home is a purpose built 77 bed care home located in Perth, set in a stunning riverside location on the banks of the River Tay. Providing Residential, Nursing, Dementia and Respite care, the home offers a modern and well supported environment where team members can develop their skills, work as part of a strong team and make a meaningful difference every day.

Team Leader - Dayshift and Nightshift

  • £14.50 per hour
  • Full time and part time contracts available
  • Dayshift and Nightshift available
  • Pension, Paid PVG, Uniform provided
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave based on a full time contract

Role Overview
As a Team Leader, you will support the delivery of high quality, person centred care while leading and guiding the care team during your shift. You will ensure residents' needs are met with dignity, respect and compassion, while promoting independence and wellbeing.

You will lead, support and motivate care assistants, oversee care delivery, support with medication administration and monitor residents' wellbeing. You will respond to any changes in condition, maintain clear communication within the team and help create a positive, supportive environment where both residents and staff can thrive.

What We Are Looking For

  •  Caring, compassionate and motivated approach
  •  Previous experience supporting older people, including those living with dementia
  •  Leadership experience with the ability to guide and support a team
  •  SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care is essential
