Location - Rotherham

Salary - Up to £36,413 per annum including Market Force Enhancement + benefits

Permanent - Full time (37hrs per week, 52 weeks a year)

Responsibilities for the role of Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering

* You will be responsible for delivering outstanding teaching and assessment up to Level 3 which includes study programmes, adult programmes and apprenticeships within Mechanical Engineering, in both a workshop and classroom environment.

* You will motivate students and support them to achieve their potential.

* You will equip the students with skills for their future through the delivery of outstanding education and training and inspire students to achieve their potential.

Specification for the role of Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering

* You will hold a vocational qualification at Level 3 or above, as well as a relevant teaching qualification and assessors award, or be willing to work towards

* You will hold a Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification in English and Maths (or be willing to undertake)

* Able to work in an organised and methodical manner

* Ideally will have previous relevant work experience in industry/commerce within a specialist area

* Preferably hold an assessment qualification (i.e. D32/D33 A1) or TAQA (or willingness to work towards)

* Ideally have a sound understanding of Further Education Methodology
