Cover Supervisor - Secondary School - Wellingborough Area

Location: Wellingborough, Northamptonshire
Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term

Salary: £100-£120 per day (depending on experience)

Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Cover Supervisor to join a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in the Wellingborough area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and motivated individual who enjoys working with young people and is looking to gain valuable experience within education.

The Role:

Supervise whole classes during the absence of teaching staff, ensuring a positive learning environment is maintained

Deliver pre-prepared work set by the class teacher and keep students on task

Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school's policies

Support students with their learning and engagement across a range of subjects

Assist with general school duties as required

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Previous experience working with young people, ideally within a school setting

Strong communication and classroom management skills

Confidence in leading a class and maintaining a calm, structured environment

Flexibility, reliability, and a positive attitude

A genuine interest in education and supporting students' progress
