Plans, directs, or coordinates activities of the loan department to ensure compliance with ethical and regulatory standards. Manages all aspects of loan operations and support staff, including document processing, disbursement and servicing for commercial and real estate lending.
•Maintains knowledge of all current regulatory issues and proposals.
•Ensures company policies are accurate, current and in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
•Reviews and updates policies as laws change.
•Interprets and communicates information on regulatory matters.
•Communicates current regulatory issues to management and recommends course of action.
•May assist with regulatory and compliance training as necessary.
•Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
•Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field.
•Experience: Two to three years of related experience.
