Pre-Commissioning Engineer - Water Sector

Covering London & South-East

£35000-£50000 + Van/Car + Benefits (European travel available but optional)

Based in Essex and covering clients across the London/South-East region, our clients are specialists in the water sector offering a range of services including Flushing and Chemical Cleaning, Pre-Commissioning, Tank Refurbs and Legionella Compliance.

Whilst they are looking for a couple of Water Hygiene Engineers for new projects releases, they have a specific focus on securing the services of a new Pre-Commissioning Engineer to work on their southern projects (International projects are also available but optional)

Key duties for the Pre-Commissioning Engineer will include:

* Fault finding, referring to project designs and liaising with the installation team.

* Providing information to clients regarding designs and job progress.

* Flushing heating systems to BSRIA standard. Using both BG29 & BG50.

* Carrying out water treatment/hygiene work if needed including - Disinfection of Commercial Water Systems, Tank & Cooling tower disinfection, clean and inspections.

To apply for the Pre-Commissioning Engineer the following experience is required

* A minimum of 4+ years previous experience in a similar role

* Full driving license

* Experience carrying out tasks including - Flow rates, bio-washes, back flushing units, servicing strainers, identifying and flushing dead legs.

* Exposure to mentoring junior staff members would be beneficial
