Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) or Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? We are currently recruiting dedicated Teaching Assistants to join a range of specialist and mainstream schools across Wigan.

About the Role:
We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable individuals to support pupils with SEND/SEMH needs on a one-to-one or small group basis. Roles are available on a full-time, part-time, temporary, temp-to-perm, and long-term ongoing basis, offering flexibility to suit your circumstances.

Key Responsibilities:

*

Supporting pupils with SEND/SEMH needs in the classroom

*

Assisting the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities

*

Helping to create a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment

*

Managing challenging behaviours in a calm and supportive manner

*

Building positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents

Requirements:

*

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one

*

Experience working in a school setting or with SEND/SEMH needs is highly desirable

*

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

*

A patient, resilient and nurturing approach
