Metalis are currently working with a modern and growing engineering company based in Leicester, looking to expand their mechanical assembly team with a hands-on and enthusiastic Engineering Labourer.

Role Overview:

Are you someone who enjoys fixing things, tinkering with cars or bikes, or tackling DIY projects at home? If you're practical, hands-on, and love being busy, this could be the perfect role for you.

You'll be joining a busy mechanical workshop, working alongside experienced engineers to assemble bespoke machinery. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn new skills, gain industry experience, and build a long-term career within engineering.

Key Duties:

Assisting with the mechanical assembly of bespoke machinery
Using hand tools, power tools, and workshop equipment
Following instructions from senior workers and supporting various workshop tasks
Keeping your work area organised and safe
Working efficiently as part of a team What We're Looking For:

A genuine interest in practical, hands-on work
Someone who enjoys fixing or building things (cars, bikes, DIY, etc.)
Reliable, punctual, and keen to learn from experienced team members
Good attitude and willingness to get stuck in
Previous experience using tools is beneficial but not essential - full training will be provided The Offer:

Full-time, long-term temporary opportunity
Early shift: 6am-2pm, Monday to Friday
Optional overtime available
