Bid Manager

As a leader in their industry our client provides mission critical systems to protect people, property and the environment across the globe.

In this brand new role and as an experienced Bid Manager you have the opportunity to really help shape the bid process ensuring all sales teams are aligned, working closely with them to produce high quality presentations for marketing, prequalification's and tenders.

Location: Harwell, Oxfordshire

Salary: Highly competitive with a very strong benefits package

Managing the full end to end bid process you will be supporting the sales teams in the business working closely with the Sales Managers across their UK sites. Building and managing stakeholder relationships is key whilst providing advice for high value proposals and attending meetings with clients when required.

You will also be leading a team of 3 and it is key that you are able to work collaboratively with them and the business.

Our ideal applicant will have/be;

Proven track record managing high profile tenders
Experience of writing technical bids
Strong computer literacy
Ability to build strong working relationships across sales teams and the business
Knowledge of conditions of contracts
Negotiation skills
Team management experience would be a distinct advantage
