£38,000 - £42,000 + £4K car allowance + Overtime + Bonus

Controls Engineer - The Role:

Design and implement control systems including Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, and Schneider PLCs.
Develop and manage HMI SCADA systems for optimal operational efficiency.
Create Functional Design Specifications (FDS) and I/O Schedules in line with project requirements.
Interpret P&ID's to ensure accurate system configuration and performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by staying abreast of industry trends and technologies.
Controls Engineer - The Person:

Proven experience in PLC/Controls Engineering.
Proficiency with Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, and Schneider PLCs.
Strong skills in HMI SCADA systems.
Ability to read and interpret P&ID's.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Located in Nottinghamshire, this role would be commutable from Nottingham, Leicester, Derby and can be highly hybrid with the majority of time either work from home or up to 35% at client site across the East of England with monthly meetings at head office in Nottingham.
