On behalf of our client, we are seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join a high-quality Nursing Home in County Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced nurse leader who is passionate about person-centred care and looking to take the next step in their career.
Key Requirements:
Registered Nurse with active NMBI registration
Minimum of 2 years' management experience in a healthcare or nursing home setting
Post-registration qualification in Gerontology and/or Dementia Care is highly desirable
Eligibility to work in Ireland
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills, with a commitment to professional development and staff empowerment
Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure the highest standards of nursing and social care, tailored to meet each resident's individual needs
Oversee clinical governance, assessments, and care planning to maintain quality outcomes
Lead and mentor CNMs, nurses, and care assistants, promoting teamwork, learning, and excellence in care delivery
Supervise medication management, conduct regular audits, and work closely with GPs and pharmacists to ensure compliance and best practice
Support the Director of Nursing in maintaining exceptional clinical, environmental, and hygiene standards
Act as a trusted point of contact for residents and families, fostering a warm, person-centred environment
