Nurture Fosttering is a small, family-owned Independent Fostering Agency based on Lewisham High Street. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Team Manager to join our service on a maternity cover basis, providing strong leadership and support to a dedicated team of social workers.
Working in close partnership with the Registered Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining high-quality practice, ensuring regulatory compliance, and improving outcomes for children and young people in our care.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, support, and manage a team of social workers, promoting a culture of reflective practice and continuous learning
Ensure compliance with all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements
Maintain a strong focus on safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children in care
Work collaboratively with the Registered Manager to deliver the agency's vision and objectives
Proactively identify opportunities to enhance service quality and outcomes
Build and maintain effective working relationships with all key stakeholders
Attend statutory meetings and empower social workers to feel confident and supported in their roles
Quality assure annual reviews and Form F fostering assessments
About You

Qualified Social Worker
Registered with Social Work England
Previous experience in a Team Manager or management role
Strong knowledge of relevant childcare legislation and fostering regulations
