Location: Barrow-in-Furness and Ulverston

Pay: £130 - £200 per day (depending on experience)

The Opportunity

Are you a passionate educator or an aspiring teacher looking to make your mark in the South Lakes? Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking dedicated Primary Teachers, Early Career Teachers (ECTs), and Trainee Teachers to support our partner schools across Barrow-in-Furness and Ulverston.

Whether you are an experienced professional or currently finishing your training, we provide the platform to gain invaluable experience. In these roles, you will be expected to plan and mark lessons that inspire and engage pupils across the Primary curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver creative and engaging lessons tailored to the Primary National Curriculum.

Confidently manage classroom behaviour, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.

Effectively mark work and provide feedback to support pupil progress.

Support the wider school community and maintain high professional standards.

Requirements & Skills

We are looking for adaptable individuals with a genuine love for teaching.

Essential: A University Degree, a teaching qualification (QTS/PGCE), or current enrolment in a teacher training programme.

Experience: Proven classroom or school-based experience is vital.

Transferable Skills: Resilience, strong communication, adaptability, and excellent organisational skills.
