Location: Bristol, BS30

Salary: £17.93ph

Contract: Full Time (39 hours) Temp-Perm

Shift Time: 07:00am-16:00pm Monday-Thursday, 07:00am-12:00pm Fridays

MDE are recruiting for our manufacturing client based in Warmley. We are seeking an experienced CNC Miller Programmer/Setter/Operator to join our client's dynamic team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines to produce precision components to exacting standards.

Key Responsibilities

Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to determine machining operations.
Program CNC milling machines using appropriate software and control systems (e.g., Fanuc, Heidenheim).
Set up and operate CNC milling machines to perform precision machining tasks.
Conduct quality checks using standard inspection equipment to ensure components meet specifications.
Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with health and safety regulations. 
Requirements

Proven experience in programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines.
Proficiency with CNC control systems such as Fanuc or Heidenheim.
Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tight geometric tolerances.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet production deadlines.
Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. 
Desirable Qualifications

Apprenticeship or formal qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Experience with 3, 4, or 5-axis CNC milling machines.
Familiarity with aerospace industry standards.
