Job Description:
We are recruiting an In Work Support Advisor to deliver in-work support to Restart participants, ensuring they sustain and progress in employment. This role is central to providing personalised guidance that helps individuals overcome challenges in their new roles and achieve long-term stability in the workplace. You will build strong relationships with participants and employers, offering practical solutions and motivation to prevent job loss and encourage career progression.
The role involves:

Providing regular check-ins and support calls to monitor job satisfaction, retention, and progression
Identifying early warning signs where participants are at risk of leaving employment and taking timely action
Offering tailored advice and problem-solving support for personal or workplace issues that could impact job retention
Liaising with employers (with participant consent) to address concerns and promote positive outcomes
Recording all interactions and employment changes accurately in line with compliance standards
Collaborating with Employment Advisors to provide seamless support throughout the participant's journey
Escalating complex cases or concerns to the Service Manager as requiredYou'll need:

Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport quickly
A supportive, solutions-focused approach and resilience in handling challenging situations
Knowledge of the local labour market, recruitment practices, and growth sectors
Understanding of welfare-to-work initiatives and employment guidance standards
Excellent organisational and IT skills, with attention to detail in record-keeping
Ability to meet performance targets while maintaining a positive participant experience
Safeguarding the welfare of all individuals, including vulnerable adults and young people, is a core priority. All appointments are subject to safer recruitment checks, including an enhanced DBS and social media screening.
