Job Title: Contracts Manager - New Build Housing Developer (South Wales)

Location: Vale of Glamorgan

Rate: £325 day, CIS available

Duration: ASAP-ongoing, open contract

About the Role:
An established housing developer in South Wales is seeking an experienced Freelance Contracts Manager to oversee multiple residential developments. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven professional to take ownership of contracts and ensure projects are delivered to the highest standard

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage and administer contracts across multiple housing development projects.

* Oversee project delivery, ensuring compliance with budgets, timescales, and quality standards.

* Liaise with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.

* Provide contract advice, manage variations, claims, and final accounts.

* Drive health, safety, and environmental compliance on site.

* Report on project progress to senior management.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within the housing or residential development sector.

* Strong understanding of contract law and construction processes.

* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

* Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

* SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications desirable.
