We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and inclusive primary school in Birmingham this September. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with pupils, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them to thrive both academically and emotionally.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
  • Working 1:1 or in small groups with pupils, including those with SEN.
  • Helping to create a positive, safe, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Assisting with classroom preparation, resources, and displays.
  • Encouraging pupil independence and confidence.
  • Collaborating with staff, parents, and external professionals to support individual needs.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience working with children in a school or similar setting.
  • Previous experience supporting children with SEN (e.g., autism, ADHD, speech and language needs).
  • A calm, patient, and empathetic approach.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) is desirable.
