Job Description:

As a Nursery Practitioner in a pre-school room, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment for children aged 2-5 during term-time. Your responsibilities will include:

Planning and implementing activities and lessons that promote child development, including social, emotional, physical, and cognitive skills.
Ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care, including following all relevant policies and procedures.
Observing children's progress and behaviour and communicating this information to parents and caregivers.
Collaborating with other staff members to create a supportive and collaborative team environment.
Providing nurturing and responsive care to children, building positive relationships with them and their families.
Creating a stimulating and organized learning environment, including setting up and maintaining age-appropriate resources and materials.
Participating in staff meetings, professional development, and training opportunities to continuously improve your skills and knowledge.Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following:

A minimum of Level 3 in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
Experience working with young children in a preschool or nursery setting.
A genuine passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early education.
A commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the classroom.
