My client, a global leader in the lift and escalator industry, are looking for

a Lift Tester the team in the North East.

Key accountabilities:

* Commission the lift in accordance with the agreed specification parameters

* Test the lift in accordance with the relevant test documents

* Take measurements and complete the necessary documentation

* Record any abnormalities for corrective action or inclusion in H&RA for the lift/site

* Carry out final inspection and sign the Final inspection document

* Liaise with relevant site personnel to ascertain state of lift

* Take part in meetings and work groups related to quality and technical issues

* Is responsible for the lift well security (safe for other trades and public etc) and safety of all persons involved in the installation activities during commissioning and testing of the lift

* Report the condition of the lift to the Supervisor who is responsible for site activities

Qualifications and previous experience:

* minimum 50-70% of NVQ4 or equivalent Lift Engineering qualification. We provide opportunity to complete NVQ4

* Previous experience as a Lift Tester

* Familiarity with operating systems e.g. Windows, basic understanding of networking concepts (LAN, WAN)

* Good written and spoken English

* Clear UK driving licence
