Are you a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant with a passion for early childhood education and supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We're looking for an enthusiastic EYFS SEN TA to join our friendly and nurturing school community!

You will work closely with class teachers and the SENCo to support a child (or children) in our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) setting. This is a rewarding role where you'll help create an inclusive learning environment and provide tailored support to help young learners flourish.

Location: Burnley
Full-Time | Term-Time Only
Start Date: October 2025
Salary: £13.75 - £14.50 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

-          Provide 1:1 or small group support for children with identified SEN, ensuring their learning and emotional needs are met.

-          Help implement and adapt individual learning plans and EHCP targets.

-          Support social, emotional, and communication development through play-based learning.

-          Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCo, and external professionals.

-          Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children.

What We're Looking For:

-          Experience working with children in an EYFS setting, ideally supporting SEN.

-          A patient, nurturing, and flexible approach.

-          Understanding of early childhood development and SEN strategies (e.g., autism, speech and language delay, sensory processing needs).

-          Strong communication and teamwork skills.

-          Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 TA, CACHE, or similar) are desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
