We're seeking a Lead Commercial Finance Analyst to support our Commercial Team in developing tender responses for our warehouse and transport division. This role involves working closely with internal and external stakeholders to manage the full process - from understanding customer needs to creating detailed financial and operational pricing models. The ideal candidate will balance fast-paced, KPI-driven operations with the need for accurate and competitive pricing, ensuring timely and effective bid submissions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support tender financial appraisals to meet internal and customer deadlines

  • Maintain and update internal reports and tools (e.g., warehouse rate cards, pricing models)

  • Develop and present cost models for new warehousing opportunities

  • Draft operational warehousing solutions for RFP responses

  • Assist in preparing RFI/RFP/tender summaries and evaluate opportunities

  • Maintain and circulate the weekly opportunity log and sales pipeline

  • Communicate with customers to gather information for quotes and tenders

  • Prepare and deliver presentation materials for internal and client use

  • Participate in training to enhance commercial and supply chain knowledge

  • Build strong relationships across internal teams and external partners

  • Use 3D simulation tools to model warehousing operations (training provided)

  • Attend site visits and customer meetings as needed

  • Ensure all deadlines are consistently met

  • Support additional tasks as requested by management

What You’ll Bring:

  • Strong experience in tender pricing, financial modeling, and analysis

  • Familiarity with operational P&Ls and commercial viability

  • Advanced skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Confident in client-facing and stakeholder management situations

  • High attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication

  • Background in warehousing, transport, or logistics preferred

  • Comfortable working with site and finance managers

  • Resilient, proactive, and able to meet tight deadlines under pressure
