If you have a heart for supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and are ready to accelerate their learning journey, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one support to students with SEND, helping them access the curriculum and participate in classroom activities.
  • Assist with the planning and delivery of tailored learning activities to meet individual needs and promote academic progress.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to create inclusive learning environments where all students can thrive.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their confidence, independence, and social skills development.
  • Support students with personal care and mobility needs, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with students with SEND is essential, ideally within a school setting.
  • A patient and compassionate approach, with a genuine desire to support the diverse needs of students.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to respond to the changing needs of students and the school community.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in supporting individuals with SEND would be advantageous.
