Job Title: Site Engineer

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a project team working on a building extension, including reinforced concrete (RC) frame works. This is a 6-month contract role, ideal for a proactive and detail-oriented engineer with strong setting out experience across groundworks and structural packages.

Key Responsibilities:

Setting out for drainage, earthworks, foundations, slabs, pile caps, and RC frame elements

*

Interpreting technical drawings and ensuring accurate implementation on site

*

Maintaining quality control procedures and ensuring work is completed to specification

*

Supporting RC frame construction including columns, walls, and formwork alignment

*

Liaising with site management, subcontractors, and other stakeholders

*

Conducting site surveys and producing as-built records

*

Ensuring health & safety standards are adhered to at all times

Requirements:

*

Proven experience as a Site Engineer on similar projects, including RC frame works

*

Strong knowledge of setting out for groundworks and reinforced concrete structures

*

Proficiency with surveying equipment (e.g., total station, GPS)

*

Ability to read and interpret engineering and RC detailing drawings

*

CSCS card (essential)

*

Excellent communication and organisational skills
