Established family-owned commercial /residential property company has a great opportunity for a dynamic Accounting Manager /Staff Accountant to join their team! You will serve as the accountant for a portfolio of residential and commercial properties, managing the full scope of accounting operations with one direct report and regular collaboration with HR & Payroll.

$75,000-$90,000 annually / Mon-Fri / Direct Hire

What You'll Do

• Record and maintain accurate journal entries
• Process and monitor incoming and outgoing financial transactions
• Manage loan payments, schedules, and escrow funding
• Allocate expenses across multiple residential and commercial properties
• Prepare and reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts
• Pull, review, and analyze monthly and quarterly financial statements
• Assist with tax preparation, documentation, and year-end reporting
• Support financial audits and internal accounting processes
• Ensure accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality of all financial records

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of accounting experience 
• Real estate or property management accounting experience 
• Yardi experience strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles
• Experience with account reconciliation and financial reporting
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
