Job Description

The Project Manager will be responsible for leading supporting large, complex, high-value strategic and departmental change initiatives, helping achieve the objectives of projects through the application of Project Management best practice knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques.

The successful candidate will be a dedicated, passionate, and experienced hands-on Project Management professional, comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and ready to jump on opportunities to collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality projects or products from Initiation to Closure. A self-motivated, self-sufficient individual with demonstrated communication experience ability to present work to senior leadership, framing discussions, facilitating collaboration and proven ability to influence others to obtain the expected outcomes.


·Provide primary programmatic support not only to large stakeholder community but also support and collaborate with Business leads and other department program & project managers


·PM Lead to work with Business Lead(s) of workstream pillars to analyze solutions from multiple angles, provide recommendations considering the needs of functional or cross functional teams, and assess priority based on fit to agreed organizational criteria

Responsibilities

This is a new role being created and will evolve, but initial responsibilities will include:


·Project Planning and Execution

Ensure robust project planning, including working with Senior leadership (VP level) and cross functional teams to assess understand project options and scenarios, and work with PM Lead to develop mitigation plans

Support Program Lead to lead global cross functional projects focused on improving scale and efficiency for CFO organisation

Support Program Lead in Leading Initiation, Planning, Execution and Close phases of projects

You will help plan, control, and execute project scope following IT PMO Excellence prescribed processes and guidelines

Ability to forecast progress and responsible for achieving milestones.

Provide leadership, coordination, and cross-functional communication to ensure achievement of project goals and timelines


·Communication and Stakeholder Management

Support creation and be responsible for the master milestone schedule, keep deliverables on track, handle dependencies and escalations

Manage scheduling meetings, sending agendas, defining communicating meeting objectives, preparing minutes, and following-up with team members on critical action items

Identify and engage appropriate stakeholders, manage expectations and drive conflict resolution

Responsible for Supporting Change Management group in preparing and managing the project Communication Plan and leading communications with key stakeholders as well as broader group of stakeholders beyond the program team

Ensure Steering Committee and stakeholders remain informed of project progress and any risks that may affect project outcomes

Present to program steering committees making detailed, prioritized recommendations, facilitating discussions and driving decision making

Ensure stakeholders understand the impact of changes introduced by the project
·Facilitate developing impact assessments, agile story definition, identifying trade-offs, resource stabilizing, and change control


·Risk Management

Prepare and manage the project Risk Management Plan

Managing Tracking project level risks and issues, taking corrective actions, and raising awareness at Program and Portfolio level

Developing regular risk assessments and risk mitigations plans

Timely escalation and resolution of complex project-level issues


·Resource and Budget Management

Forecast and track project budget and resource requirements

Work with the Portfolio Manager to ensure program initiatives are correctly resourced and funded

Work with the portfolio manager to resolve resource conflicts and budget mismatches


·Management Reporting

Project level management reporting, including milestone tracking, forecasts, risks, issues, and overall project RAG status

Prepare executive level reporting decks and commentary

Qualifications and Skills


·Cloud Fusion - Finance Modules Project experience essential


·A minimum of 7+ years of Project/Program Management experience is required


·A Bachelor or Master's STEM Degree; Computer Science, Information Technology or related technical field preferred


·Project Management qualifications, such as PMP (Project Management Professional), CSM (Certified Scrum Master), PMI-ACP (Agile Certified) etc preferred


·Demonstrated experience leading successful large, complex, high-value strategic and departmental IT change initiatives, preferably in large, multi-national organizations.


·Expertise in one or more project management Agile methodologies


·Demonstrated depth of Finance knowledge and business acumen obtained from previous experience of project and programs


·Demonstrated experience delivering Corporate ERP initiatives, Oracle Cloud preferred


·Proactive mindset, can adapt easily to a changing environment, excellent in time management


·Ability to obtain and communicate a broader picture but also get hands-on when needed
