Specialist Court Work Senior Practitioner

A London based Local Authority which is currently involved in a number of projects specifically around Court Work is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join its dedicated and newly developed Court Work team.

Highlights:

This is a dedicated Court Work team which work with Looked After Children
You will be joining a newly formed team consisting of a Team Manager and 6 Senior Practitioners
The team also work on innovative projects involving Family Drug and Alcohol Court (FDAC) and Best Services Trial (BeST)
The team also have a dedicated Case Manager for Court Proceedings who will work closely with the team to provide case consultation and training around court processes
The Local Authority is a high performing Local Authority which achieved a Good in its last Ofsted
The Local Authority has one of the lowest caseloads in the London region
Due to the nature of the role there is a high degree of flexibility with practitioners able to work from home, this is expected to go on for the foreseeable.
Salary package for this post is up to £51k including bonuses

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a newly created team which has been specifically created to work closely with those Looked After Children that maybe involved in Court processes. Furthermore the team is involved in a number of new projects which you will be encouraged to be a part of.

The team also have a dedicated Case Manager for Court Proceedings who is able to provide support and case consultations for Senior Practitioner to help provide an additional level of support so that you can be sure that your work will be to a high standard. Furthermore more the Case Manager will be continuously reviewing processes to reduce bureaucracy as well as provide training.

To be considered for this post you should have extensive Court Work experience
