Position: Nursery Manager
Hours: 38h per week
Location: Paddington, London
Salary: up to £47,000 per annum

Brief Job and Company Description

Our client operates a well-established and respected Montessori nursery in the Paddington area. They are currently looking for an enthusiastic Nursery Manager to join their team on an 18-month Maternity contract and oversee the general management of the nursery. This is a great opportunity for someone who has previous Deputy Manager or Nursery management experience to join an excellent organisation with an excellent pay structure and benefits.

Key Responsibilities

* The Nursery Manager will be responsible in dealing with the day to day running of the nursery setting.

* Overseeing a team of childcare professionals and helping to ensure that their jobs are done to the highest possible standard.

* Making sure that the nursery is fully compliant with OFSTED regulations.

* Ensuring that the nursery follows all EYFS principles.

* Employing and training new staff.

For this position you MUST have the following

* Montessori Diploma (essential)

* Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Childcare

* Proven leadership experience in an early years setting

* Strong understanding of the EYFS and commitment to high standards
