Geotechnical / Geo-environmental Engineer 📍 Ovington, Hampshire | Full-time | Permanent

Join a well-established Consulting Engineers - an award-winning multidisciplinary firm - as our next Geotechnical / Geo-environmental Engineer and play a key role in delivering innovative and sustainable engineering solutions across the UK.

🔧 Your Role As part of our experienced and collaborative team, you'll work on a wide range of ground engineering projects, with responsibilities including: • Conducting and supervising site investigations (trial pitting, soakaway testing, borehole logging, etc.) • Overseeing construction activities such as foundation inspections, mine grouting, earthworks, and remediation • Preparing Phase 1 and 2 geo-environmental and geotechnical reports • Producing coal mining risk assessments, earthworks strategies, verification reports, and more • Advising on foundation design, slope stability, and geotechnical parameters • Liaising with clients, regulators, contractors, and fellow consultants • Undertaking detailed quantitative risk assessments

👷 About You They are looking for someone with: • A degree (or Master's) in Geology, Geography, or Civil Engineering • Experience managing site investigations and producing technical reports • Working towards professional accreditation with the Geological Society, ICE, or equivalent • Excellent communication skills and a proactive, detail-oriented approach • A full UK driving licence and access to a car (mileage paid)
