**The opportunity**

Deloitte's Tax Depreciation group is one of the largest specialist Tax Depreciation/capital allowances practices of its kind in the UK. The team are able to offer a combination of skills from tax, surveying and accounting advice, meaning that clients can come to this group to maximise their tax depreciation needs in the UK and around the world. Deloitte work with clients using specialist experience to help optimise tax relief on capital expenditure and minimise the potential compliance burden of tax depreciation.

This role will be based in one of our offices in Scotland

 

**Responsibilities**

 

You will be required to


* Provide tax depreciation consultancy advice and support on transactions, reorganisations and disposals * Prepare tax depreciation analysis for a varied client base * Undertake international tax depreciation studies for multinational organisations and inward investors * Assist with the development of innovative tax depreciation ideas  * Be involved in a range of taxation advisory areas including capital allowances, land remediation, transaction planning, technical advisory work and advice pertaining to the "green agenda" * Play an integral role in business development and winning new work * Network internally and externally to enhance cross-selling opportunities * Play a key part in client meetings and relationship management * Mentor more junior members of the team and assist them with the development of their technical skills


 **Requirements**: 

 
* ACA/CTA qualification or equivalent * UK Corporate Tax experience and Tax depreciation and Capital Allowances experience. * Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage and develop client relationships. * High levels of motivation, with a proven ability to work on own initiative within a challenging work environment * Strong team skills, with good organisation, planning and leadership skills * Sound people managements skills * A broader perspective of potential issues encountered when managing diverse teams and the strategies to overcome them; have a clear understanding of the firm's commitment to creating a more inclusive culture
