RG Consultancy are excited to be working with a well-established manufacturing company based on The Wirral. We are recruiting for an ambitious Assistant Management Accountant to join a close team of 10.

This role reports to the Financial Controller and would be perfect for an AAT qualified or part ACCA/CIMA qualified studier who is looking to progress within a company.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Assist with preparation of monthly management accounts
• Assist with balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist performing month end tasks: Accruals, prepayments and journals
• Bank and credit card reconciliations
• All aspects of VAT returns
• Help identify and implement improvements to the company's financial process
• All other adhoc duties within the finance department
