Our client is looking for a full time administrator to join their Hire and Sales team.

Ideally our are looking for applicants who have previously worked within a Hire / building supply company or have a transport office background

The key result areas of the job are as follows:

Answering telephone calls and dealing with Customers/Clients

Ensure that all paperwork has been processed at the correct time to enable the Branch's month end procedure to be undertaken and invoices raised

Dealing with Drivers - end of day briefing including checking all delivery paperwork

Job involves being responsible for ensuring that the Companies procedure for bad debts and credit control are implemented and the agreed policies are effectively carried out.

Deal with incoming/outgoing mail/telephone calls ensuring clients requests are dealt with speedily and effectively with particular emphasis on the handling of Hire and Sales enquiries, including mail shots.

Effectively operate record keeping systems ie quotation register, filing systems and all sequential files using office based computer system

Experience working within the building/hire trade environment would be an advantage but not essential

Responsible for looking after their 5 HGV Lorries, booking 6 weekly inspections, MOTS, ensure Drivers daily checks are completed.

Hours Monday to Friday 08:00-17:00pm

Salary £24,000 - £24,500 depending on experience

Must be computer literate
