Academics - Term Time Teachers are working in partnership with a welcoming and well-established primary school in Eastbourne to recruit a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 (depending on experience)

Deliver small-group interventions in literacy and numeracy

Provide 1:1 support where required

Assist the class teacher in creating a positive and engaging learning environment

Help promote pupils' social, emotional and academic development

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

Has previous experience working in a primary school setting

Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)

Is patient, proactive and adaptable

Has a genuine passion for supporting children's learning

Holds (or is willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
