Our Office Support team at our Victoria, London office are a public sector facing recruitment team who have enjoyed a lot of success. Due to a recent Maternity Leaver we are seeking a passionate and ambitious individual to join our team with a focus on Personal & Executive Assistant temporary recruitment to the local government and health sectors, including NHS and Private Health. The desk is an established desk and requires a mix of successfully managing and delivering to existing relationships, as well as establishing and building new relationships and business growth. The team is run by director who absolutely believes in working as a unit to achieve results and develops each individual in the way that best suits them - every member is valued and achievements are recognised.
Your new role in recruitment
Recruitment is fast-paced and dynamic, every day you'll work with candidates and clients, transforming lives and businesses, and making a lasting impact. As a recruitment consultant at Hays you'll run your desk like it's your own business, sourcing candidates, winning clients and matching the right candidate to the right job to make fees.
It's hard work as you'll have to hit both sales and activity targets (and we have high expectations here at Hays) but a career in recruitment is extremely rewarding and satisfying, both on a personal and financial perspective.
What you'll need to succeed
There's not one typical person that makes a good recruitment consultant. We've got people from all kinds of backgrounds - retail, sales professionals, ex-tradespeople, graduates… You could have just finished university or be a school leaver, have previous work experience or none at all - we don't care about your background, we're more interested in your potential and your attitude.
You'll need to demonstrate that you're sales driven, results-focused, and possess an ambitious driven to succeed. Recruitment is hard work and it takes time and perseverance to achieve results so resilience, persistence and determination is key. You need to be passionate about people, outgoing and confident.
