DevOps Engineer (AWS) - London - £70k

Are you a skilled DevOps Engineer with AWS expertise, eager to work with a modern tech stack and see the impact of your contributions?

You have the opportunity to advance your career with a growing AdTech company, which is expanding into European markets. This company dominates the UK market with a 90% share and offers an AI and Machine Learning-driven SaaS platform.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will work alongside another DevOps professional to build and maintain AWS cloud-based infrastructure. You will collaborate with software engineering teams to support CI/CD pipelines and manage AWS environments.

Your responsibilities will include managing AWS Control Tower access for developers and QAs, writing and maintaining IaC templates, monitoring and diagnosing issues in both development and live environments, writing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring the platform meets architecture standards for robustness, scalability, and high performance. You will also evaluate and introduce new AWS functionalities as they are released.

Location: London

Requirements:

  • Experienced DevOps Engineer with strong AWS knowledge, including serverless computing with AWS Lambda
  • Proficient in AWS Control Tower
  • Hold AWS certifications, at least AWS Solution Architect
  • Experienced in managing and maintaining multi-tenant AWS platforms
  • Knowledgeable in IaC using AWS CloudFormation and/or Terraform
  • Understanding of software engineering and capable of creating APIs with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Bash
  • Familiar with Linux OS and networking technologies
  • Collaborative with excellent communication skills
  • Degree educated in Computer Science
