Venesky-Brown's client, The SQA in Dalkeith, is currently looking to recruit Porters/Warehouse Operatives for a 1 week contract on a rate of £13.25 per/hour (PAYE), however this may be extended by up to a month. The work will start ASAP and the working hours will initially be 8:30am-6pm. There will also be overtime involved plus Saturday and Sunday shifts. Overtime is paid at time and a half after 35 hours and double time on a Sunday.

Responsibilities:

• Event preparation
• Manual handling and layout of materials for event.
• Assist with the collation and packing of all items requiring despatch.
• Ensure these activities are carried our accurately and according to the time frame given.
• Organise collate and distribute material to internal and external customers.
• Undertake accurate filing and storage of paperwork.
• Retrieval of stored paperwork
• Checking, organising, moving and handling of stationery and materials.
• Maintain a tidy work area and comply with all Health and Safety regulations.

• Ability to work on own as well as part of a team.
• There is a daily requirement to undertake manual handling including heavy lifting and pallet movement.
