Public Services Lecturer
Location: Cheshire
Salary: £30 per hour
Contract: Immediate start, Full-Time (37 hours per week)
Are you passionate about shaping the next generation of public service professionals? We’re looking for an experienced Public Services Lecturer to join our dynamic team in Cheshire.
What You’ll Be Doing- Delivering high-quality lessons, workshops, and tutorials
- Planning and assessing student work in line with curriculum requirements
- Supporting learners with progression, behaviour, and engagement
- Embedding employability, resilience, equality, and safeguarding principles
- Contributing to a positive, collaborative team culture
What We’re Looking For- Experience teaching Public Services in an FE setting (or strong vocational background with a willingness to work toward teaching qualifications)
- Knowledge across subjects such as leadership, government structure, fitness, law, discipline, teamwork, and emergency planning
- A learner-centred approach with excellent communication skills
- A DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
All candidates who register with Reed Further Education will have 2 years’ referencing taken up and will be required to have a DBS check completed. All offers are conditional upon satisfactory background checks.
