Key Responsibilities

Booking transport and liaising with hauliers, agencies and in-house drivers
Keeping delivery records aligned and PODs on point
Processing purchase and sales orders through Sage
Supporting transport compliance: think digitacho downloads, servicing schedules, and VU data
Logging and tracking costs accurately, resolving invoice queries and driving cost efficiency
Analysing transport data to spot trends and support decision-making
Managing delivery and collection changes within 72 hours
Reporting progress and highlighting opportunities to improve
Working flexibly to support whatever the transport department needs that dayRequired Experience

Experience within a Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain environment, ideally as a Transport Co-Ordinator
A basic understanding of transport legislation and compliance
Ability to manage your workload, keep records tidy, and spot issues before they become problems
Good communication skills with a clear, professional phone manner
Confidence working with IT systems - Sage and Excel in particular
A calm, positive, can-do attitude (even when things get busy)
