EduTalent Group are hiring for SEN Teaching Assistants to support a welcoming and inclusive SEN college in Ashford across multiple sites, with an immediate start available.

This is a brilliant opportunity to join a small but growing provision supporting young adults aged 18 to 25 across multiple sites in Faversham. The college offers a structured, nurturing environment with a strong focus on independence, employability and personal development.

Learners study a varied curriculum including horticulture, animal care, creative crafts, Maths and English, and staff are genuinely invested in ongoing professional growth.

Job Description

*

Provide tailored support to learners with a range of Special Educational Needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and learning difficulties

*

Work 1:1 and in small groups to support learning, behaviour and emotional development

*

Support learners who may be disabled and or disadvantaged

*

Assist teaching staff in delivering engaging and accessible lessons

*

Support personal development, independence and social skills

*

Follow individual Education, Health and Care Plans

*

Maintain a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment

*

Use basic IT systems confidently and manage workload independently while contributing to a team approach

Requirements

*

Experience working with children or young people, SEN experience desirable but not essential

*

Education to Level 2 in English and Maths

*

Patient, empathetic and resilient approach

*

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

*

Ability to self manage and work collaboratively

*

Genuine interest in supporting learners with additional needs

*

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
