Landscape Technician

This is a Part-Time to Full-Time Position. Monday to Wednesday Full Time, Thursday to Sunday is on call. First couple of months will be Full-time.

Duties:
- Perform groundskeeping tasks such as mowing, edging, and weeding
- Build and maintain landscape features such as pathways, retaining walls, and fences
- Use hand tools and power equipment to complete landscaping projects
- Dig trenches for irrigation systems or planting trees and shrubs
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed
- Provide lawn care services including fertilizing, aerating, and seeding
- Perform tree care tasks such as pruning, trimming, and removal
- Maintain gardens by planting flowers, vegetables, or other plants

- Work on irrigation systems as needed

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of landscaping techniques and practices
- Ability to operate and maintain various hand tools and power equipment
- Experience with snow plowing and removal procedures
- Proficient in digging trenches for irrigation systems or planting purposes
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment
- Familiarity with lawn care practices including fertilizing, aerating, and seeding
- Knowledge of tree care techniques such as pruning, trimming, and removal
- Ability to create and maintain attractive gardens

Note: Previous experience in landscaping or a related field is preferred. A valid driver's license may be required for some positions.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
