Job Duties:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons for Key Stage 1 students
Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to both students and parents
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities

Required Qualifications:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching Key Stage 1 curriculum
Strong knowledge of primary education principles and practises

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in Key Stage 1

Knowledge and Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
Strong classroom management skills
Proficiency in using educational technology

Preferred Qualifications:

Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
Specialist training in early years education

Working Conditions:

The role involves working with young children in a school setting, following the academic calendar with term-time hours. The teacher may be required to attend occasional evening events or meetings.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
