Study Supervisor - Behaviour Support - Secondary School - Brent - ASAP Start - Full-Time

Are you an experienced Study Supervisor, Youth Worker, Sports Coach, or Behaviour Mentor with strong classroom management skills?

Tradewind Recruitment is working with welcoming secondary schools in Brent that are seeking Study Supervisors (Behaviour Support) to start ASAP on a full-time, long-term basis. This is a rewarding role supporting students academically and behaviourally while helping maintain a calm learning environment.

You will supervise pre-set work during teacher absences and support students who need additional behaviour guidance, ensuring they remain focused and engaged.

Key responsibilities:

• Supervising classes during teacher absence

• Managing behaviour in line with school policy

• Supporting students removed from lessons due to behaviour issues

• Delivering reflection or intervention sessions

• Supporting students with SEMH or behavioural needs

• Promoting positive behaviour and engagement

• Recording incidents and reporting concerns

• Working with Heads of Year, SENCOs, and behaviour leads

• Following safeguarding procedures at all times

• Experience as a Study Supervisor, Youth Worker, Sports Coach, or Behaviour Mentor with strong classroom management skills

• Experience working with children between the ages of 11 and 16

• Strong behaviour management and classroom supervision skills

• Experience supporting SEMH needs (desirable)

• Calm, confident, and resilient approach

• Ability to build positive relationships with clear boundaries

• Good communication and record-keeping skills

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply

• Full-time, Monday-Friday (term-time only)

• Supportive secondary schools in Brent
