Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Site Manager to oversee mechanical installations on a commercial/industrial project. The successful candidate will ensure that works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day mechanical site operations, including labour and subcontractors

*

Coordinate mechanical services (HVAC, pipework, plantroom installations, etc.)

*

Ensure health & safety compliance on-site (RAMS, permits, toolboxes, etc.)

*

Work closely with the project team to monitor progress against programme

*

Liaise with other trades and disciplines to ensure smooth project delivery

*

Attend site meetings, contribute to reporting, and resolve technical issues

*

Manage materials and deliveries to site

*

Conduct quality checks and ensure compliance with specifications and drawings

*

Support commissioning and handover process

Requirements:

*

Proven experience as a Mechanical Site Manager on commercial or industrial projects

*

Strong understanding of mechanical building services systems

*

SMSTS or SSSTS

*

CSCS Card (Management level preferred)

*

Excellent leadership and communication skills

*

Ability to read technical drawings and coordinate effectively with other trades

*

Right to work in the UK

Desirable:

First Aid at Work

*

Experience in clean rooms, data centres, warehouses, or large-scale plantrooms

*

Relevant mechanical qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC, etc.)
