We have a permanent Manufacturing Electrician role available within Catnic, part of Tata Steel UK. This role is ideal for someone with strong electrical engineering skills and is hands-on, fast-paced, and highly rewarding.

Role: Manufacturing Electrician
Location: Caerphilly (CF83)
Rate: £36,000 + annual bonus + yearly tool allowance
Contract length: Permanent
Shift Patterns: Monday - Thursday: 07:00 - 16:00; Friday: 07:00 - 12:30

Responsibilities:

* Maintain and repair machinery and plant electrical systems to reduce downtime

* Conduct preventative maintenance to avoid future issues

* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the site

* Support site projects and equipment upgrades

* Collaborate with other departments and external contractors as required

* Ensure all work is carried out safely and efficiently in line with company standards

Essential Requirements:

* Time-served electrician with a recognised qualification in electrical engineering or related discipline

* Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment

* Strong understanding of electrical safety and best practices

* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

* Ability to work independently or as part of a team under pressure

* Commitment to continuous learning and development

Desirable Requirements:

* Familiarity with PLCs and control systems

* Driving license and access to own vehicle
