Salary: £30,000-£40,000 pa dependant on experience

Hours: Full time-40 hours per week Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm

Better Healthcare services are looking for an experienced Registered Branch Manager to lead our established branch on Bedford.

The role of Branch Manager is always to promote Better Healthcare as a care at home service through high standards of professional practice which are conducive to the physical, emotional, social, intellectual and spiritual needs of our clients. As well as ensuring that all business targets are met with full compliance in line with quality and legislative standards. You will also lead a team to ensure Better Healthcare policies and producers are meet and exception care is delivered to every client always.

Key duties will include:

Holding the Registration for the Bedford branch which will include managing the day-to-day running of the branch to ensure effective service delivery for our clients

Visiting potential clients to discuss requirements as well as sharing all relevant correspondents with clients

Investigating complaints, taking appropriate action and reporting to Area Manager, Operations Manager, Safeguarding Authorities and/or the CQC

Liaising with and co-operating with CQC inspectors and inspections.

To assess branch performance against weekly and monthly targets

Ensuring records are kept appropriately and in accordance with Confidentiality and Data protection legislation

Manage all branch level complaints effectively with a positive outcome

Management of a team of Care Professionals

Identify  and arranging training and development needs for all branch staff

Ensure the effective placement of staff to meet client needs

Manage the accurate processing of weekly timesheets via our in-house system

Risk assessing service users' homes with regard to health and safety and infection control issues and providing advice to staff regarding safe and healthy working practices in the field.

We are looking for:

At least two years' experience in a senior management capacity within the previous five years within the Care sector

A management qualification or care qualification equivalent to NVQ level 4

The ability to take on responsibility

Effective Leadership skills

Self motivated and highly organised with the ability to motivate and inspire your team

Flexible attitude

Caring approach

An effective communicator at all levels

Commitment to high standards

Commitment to training and improve of staff

QCF Level 5
