The Finance Business Partner Job
This job as Finance Business Partner will be embedded within a multi-function environment, providing a service to both finance and non-finance functions in order to support the delivery of the annual financial objectives. You will be heavily involved in costings; business planning; budgeting and forecasting; investments and continuous improvement initiatives.
The organisation is also implementing SAP 4/HANA and support this within your department.
You will:
- Have financial responsibility and accountability for specific projects from a finance perspective.
- Support and manage costings, delivering accurate, timely and valuable management information
- Control overhead costs for allocated departments
- Be involved in the SAP 4/HANA implementation
This role will give you broad experience of manufacturing finance, involving cost base and projects, as well as business partnering. As a result of the evolving workload, this position offers great potential to progress within the team.
Requirements
- You will be a Part Qualified or Qualified Accountant with experience within a large, manufacturing based environment
- You must have business partnering experience to operational staff, in particular within manufacturing and costings, with key knowledge of manufacturing based performance metrics
- Background of project and / or overhead cost control within manufacturing
- Experience of SAP would be advantageous
