Civil/Structural Engineer Job Summary

They are looking for a permanent Civil Engineer in Norwich. The candidate will be accountable to the Directors to undertake calculations, design work and design management as required for projects.

Some of the key duties will be:

* Production of engineering design & detail in accordance with project requirements

* Preparation of calculations, written reports and checking of contract drawings

* Checking of calculations done by other Engineers

* Client liaison

* Site visits as required by projects

The Civil Engineer must have:

* A Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering OR approaching (or recently) Chartered

* At least 3 years' design experience in Civil Engineering projects

* Excellent communication skills

* IT literate

* Competent in English (verbal and written)
